Regulation of Gut Microbiome May Improve Anxiety
I’ve been seeing a lot of articles lately on the microbiome.
It’s funny because functional docs have been recommending gut therapies aimed at the microbiome for decades!
Anyway, an article entitled “Anxiety might be alleviated by regulating gut bacteria” looked at studies that addressed psychiatric issues with gut microbiome regulation.
What they found was that many people suffering with anxiety could improve their mood symptoms by addressing their digestive health.

Just as an aside, here, I suspect that many people may feel overwhelmed by this discussion of ‘cleaning up the diet.
